Flora and Fauna-While looking at the waterfalls we had lots of opportunity to see flora and fauna. The area is filled with palm trees, lianas(vines\, bamboo in the understory,and flowers. Even though it is winter in Argentina everything is lush and green in the jungle.
We saw lots of small butterflies including one that hitched a ride on Bruce's pack for more than half an hour. We were excited to see Coati in the woods-not so excited when we realized they had come from a near by snack stand where they beg for lunches. Lots of colorful birds chirped and filled the trees. We went on a hike looking for tucans and didn't see any until we were leaving and two perched in a tree by the park gate (hum-wonder what the park pays them to do that!)
